Wow, this site has come a long way. I just checked out the zone by phone! very very cool! I understand that it's new but already there's a lot of work that's gone into it. I was very pleased to find it had it's own conferencing option. unfortunately I didn't go in due to the international rates here. How possible would it be to get international numbers? I have no clue on how they would work but just curious.
also though, not sure if this has happened to anyone else, but when I first entered in my ID and pin, recorded my name,Chris N said "welcome" then my name recording played and it froze and I just had to hang up and call back. but once I called back it was fine. Just wondered if that happened to everybody when they first record their name for the system atm?

aaah, I knew I forgot something. I also wanted to suggest that maybe, is it possible that as well as seeing who's online on the zone, the page could tell us who's on the phone? not sure how possible that would be, but it may be good if it can be done.

Well, I was also wondering about international numbers as well. I guess that makes me stupid, ha black bird? You kno what? to bad if it does.
this topic is good. as for international rates, i suggest skype if you can use it.
actually I did end up using skype before with skypeout; works quite well. :)
Liz, it doesn't make you stupid, what does if that's the tone you wish to take is the fact there was a board created for this discussion days ago on wich there is already mention of how to deal with this, and the fact that they are trying to find a UK number, noone had mentioned an australian one, but still this was already all discussed so if you'd read the boards a little you'd know.
I do read the boards, and she wasn't talking about the uk. even though Iread them, I didn't even notice that one.
lol I can't stand multiple topics on the same subject either. I can understand creating the same topic if it were something someone posted about more than 3 months back where you'd have to really dig for it, but this same other topic concerning this subject was probably the second or third one down from the top. So it would have been really easy to just look before posting. It's so amazing how people don't take that one minute to check to see if it's been posted about. I think this is the third topic about the zone by phone that I've encountered and it basically says the same thing.

Michelle, the original topic was posted the day the system went up. 2 further topics including this one have been created in the last few hours. I believe though can't be certain that the original is still on the first page of topics with new post, so shouldn't have been missed realistically.
Well in order to create a new post for a certain board, you would have had to go to the original board itself. For example this topic is in the "zoneBBS suggestions board," so she would have gone there to create this. Each of these boards has it so the list of board posts begins with the last posted to board topic.
What I'm saying is that it wouldn't have taken much effort to arrow down and see that this topic was already brought up. Although the primary topic was created a few days ago, people have been posting to it since so it wouldn't have been very far down at all.

I'm surprised CL's haven't moved posts that are dealing with the same subject to the arigonal topic. IE the posts from this one and the other one create a bit ago to the one already in progress. Wow, did that makes dollars?

Well, with all the pettiness aside (I apologize for making such a terrible mistake) it's good to see a suggestion I made now in affect, ie. the people logged into the phone system displayed on the zoneBBS.
